Maria Nicolacoudis - Executive Director

Maria earned a B.A. in psychology from the UC Santa Cruz and an M.A. in counseling psychology from Santa Clara University. She has worked with persons with disabilities for twenty years, as a Case Manager for persons with chronic mental illness and Instructor at the Thessaloniki School for the Blind.

At Project HIRED, an employment service for persons with disabilities, she managed the temporary staffing agency, the outsourcing division and trained employers on ADA, disability etiquette and accommodations.

She serves on the board of H.O.P.E., as Chair of the Santa Clara County Committee for Employment of Persons with Disabilities and is an appointee to the California Governor's Committee for the Employment of Persons with Disabilities. She joined TransAccess in July 1997.
