Kelly Ramirez

Kelly earned a BA in Liberal Studies, a Teaching Credential, and Slingerland Training Certificate from San Jose State University. She has 15 years of teaching experience, both at the elementary and college levels, including teaching students with Dyslexia.

She brings 7 years of non-profit fundraising experience to TransAccess. She organized the first American Cancer Society Relay for Life in her community and chaired the event for 3 years before being hired as an Event Manager with the American Cancer Society. While employed at IBM, Kelly was an active member of the NorCal Diversity Council.

Kelly is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and serves on the local chapter’s Diversity Committee. She has also served on the boards of several community organizations.
