Spencer Schatz joined the Board of TransAccess in June, 2011.  He has been involved in Human Resources as an HR Business Partner, Technical Staffing Specialist and Senior Staffing Consultant for more than 20 years in the Silicon Valley.  Mr. Schatz was involved with Project Hired for over 8 years as a volunteer, mentor, and Business Advisory Committee member, participating in community employment forums.  Mr. Schatz gains gratification by being of service to people who are challenged in life and through his other community services, including eight years of volunteer service for Temple Beth El including participation on and Chair of the HR Committee.  He is also a continuing, weekly volunteer at the Family Shelter in Santa Cruz as well as a volunteer with CASA in Watsonville.
