General Donations * Total hours donated: 556.5 * Total in-kind donations: $3800 Grants Submitted and Received * Cisco Foundation: Requested and received $10,000 for the Internship Program. * CROSSROADS 90 Foundation: Requested and received $4,000 for the CAT Lab. * Anonymous Foundation: Requested and received $3,000. * Sobrato Foundation: Requested and received $5,000 for the CAT Lab. * $1,300 donated by Siemens. * Department of Rehabilitation Establishment Grant: The proposal for the extension was accepted and we have been granted $34,422. Events and PR * DPI was featured in Wired News, San Jose Mercury News Wishbook, a national magazine for parents of children with disabilities, The San Jose Mercury News (2 articles), two shows for "On The Move" (channel 54), one show for "Silicon Valley Business This Week" (Channel 36) and Evening Magazine. * employmentAccess '99 (approximately 500 attendees), DPI open house (100 guests), DPI's temporary exhibit at the San Jose Museum of Technology provided information on access technology (approximately 1,500 museum guests), DPI organized a program for Social Security Benefits for Persons with disabilities (over 75 attendees) * We Magazine will include DPI as a resource for their upcoming job board for persons with disabilities. 1 1999 Mission Fulfillment Report TransAccess
